There is plenty to explore on Martha’s Vineyard when traveling alone - even in the winter months! Just outside of downtown Vineyard Haven sits Little House Cafe, which is the perfect spot to grab a delicious breakfast if you’re getting hungry after your ferry ride. The Cafe is in fact in a little house which provides dine-in seating, and its offerings include fresh espresso coffees, delicate pastries, and tasty breakfast sandwiches. If you fall in love with the breakfast, lunch and dinner is also served year-round!

Shop 'Til You Drop
Support local businesses this holiday season by shopping at Martha’s Vineyard Made. This collaborative shop was not only made by an Islander, but carries products made by local artists, artisans, and makers. The brick & mortar store is located at 29 Main Street in Vineyard Haven, and its mission consists of selling original and authentic locally made products to customers near and far.

Looking for a good read to enjoy while on vacation? Make sure to check out Bunch of Grapes, an independent and locally owned bookstore which features a carefully curated collection of the finest books. They also offer a vast selection of titles from local authors as well!

Another great store to shop for gifts (or even to splurge a bit for yourself) is LeRoux At Home. If you’re inspired by creative home decor or high quality kitchen products, this is definitely the stop for you! The beautifully curated selection of home goods, cookware, and house-made oils make for wonderful gifts and are sure to spice up any home
