Smash the Silence Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser

The Smash the Silence Pickleball Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025, starting at 9 AM at the MVRHS Tennis Courts. Hosted by MVCS CONNECT to End Violence in collaboration with the MVRHS SWEAR (Stand With Everyone Against Rape) program, this charity event features men's, women's, and co-ed doubles across three skill levels: Beginner (3.0), Intermediate (3.5), and Advanced (4.0). All participants will receive a free tournament T-shirt, and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division. Proceeds benefit SWEAR, a student-led initiative dedicated to educating teens about gender-based violence, challenging rape culture, dispelling harmful myths, and fostering consent-based leadership through workshops, peer education, and community outreach.
